Who are you?
I’m an educator with 19+ years experience in the classroom and as an IT consultant. Currently I am an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher(ITRT) at a large high school in Northern Virginia.
What is this blog all about?
Mostly it is a resource for the teachers I serve — Monday posts are “how-tos” for FAQs; Wednesdays are for featured websites; and Friday posts are just for fun (definitely the most popular weekly post). Occasionally I will rant a bit or try to wax philosophical, but I usually come up short in those areas, especially when compared to some of the other wonderful minds in Tech Ed (see the blogroll).
Anything else?
I love what I do. I’ve tried other careers, but education is the place for me. And while History was my first love (I taught high school Social Studies for 9 years!), helping teachers use technology in the teaching of our children actually beats sharing sordid stories of Henry VIII’s sex life (believe it or not!).
